Ruwaard van Putten Hospital Opts for expreSSO

The Ruwaard van Putten Hospital has entered into a strategic partnership with E.Novation within the Identity & Access Management Suite, making it the first Dutch healthcare institution to use the Single Sign-On solution expreSSO from the E.Novation portfolio.

The hospital staff work with a broad range of applications and must log into each individual application separately, which can be quite tedious. The hospital therefore wanted to obtain a more efficient solution for this time-consuming process and, simultaneously, wanted to be prepared for the mandatory deployment of a number of measures, including the UZI card and the NEN7510 norm, which aim to secure (patient) data. expreSSO, specifically designed for the healthcare sector, is a highly reliable next-generation Single Sign-On solution. It is part of E.Novation’s Identity & Access Management Suite, which also offers new possibilities for Context Management.

The Ruwaard van Putten Hospital will first provide all its specialists with expreSSO, after which the application will be taken into use by all 1,100 users. The hospital considers the solution particularly suitable for its organisation and expects its healthcare providers to realise substantial time savings.
