Jeroen Bosch Hospital selects E.Novation's communications server

In anticipation of the rollout of Alert Paperfree Hospital, the next-generation EPD and healthcare logistics system, Jeroen Bosch Hospital has selected Cloverleaf as its communications server. "Cloverleaf plays a key role in the hospital industry", said Rini van Iersel, the hospital's IT Manager.

Although the implementation of the Electronic Patient File (EPD) will take more than two years altogether, the first step in preparing the institution for the new EPD has been taken. Cloverleaf®, E.Novation's communications server, will play a vital role in the IT infrastructure of the hospital, which has five locations in the towns of Den Bosch (3 locations), Boxtel and Zaltbommel. In addition to the standard Cloverleaf® implementation, E.Novation will also establish the links with the EPD and be responsible for the management and maintenance of the communications server, together with Jeroen Bosch Hospital.

For the independent communications and integration specialist E.Novation, this provides a unique opportunity to link a new generation of EPD to its communications server. "The fact that hospitals entrust us with projects of this size shows that we can also provide significant added value in terms of management. We were looking for an independent communications server, and Cloverleaf® was an obvious choice. When it comes to flexibility and reliability, Cloverleaf® plays a leading role in the hospital industry."

Van Iersel is very pleased that E.Novation will also be responsible for management and maintenance. "It is right in line with our outsourcing strategy.
